I HAD NO IDEA THAT GENDER MADE SUCH A DIFFERENCE AMONG WRITERS, I’VE ALWAYS PUT EMPHASIS ON CONTEXT. ALL THE OTHER GARBAGE’ IS EXTRANEOUS, NOTHINGNESS. WHEN I READ A BOOK I ENTER A WORLD, A REALM, WITH FULL BLOWN EXPECTATION, EXCITMENT, ANTICIPATION. HER BLOG WAS ENLIGHTENING, ESPECIALLY FOR JUST ONE WHO READS. I READ A BOOK A FEW YEARS BACK CALLED “FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY”, SOME OF WHAT SHE MADE REFERENCE TO IN HER BLOG BROUGHT THIS TO MIND. NOT ONLY THE FEAR ISSUE, BUT AS PEOPLE WE MUST ALWAYS PUSH RIGHT TO THE EDGE OF THE OLD COMFORT ZONE, BALANCING BETWEEN A SMIDGIN OF RESOLVE, AND PUSH.

Lately I’ve adopted the “nothing [important, exciting, creative, new, bold, revolutionary, blockbusting, extraordinary] happens in the comfort zone” approach. Thanks so much for commenting.
